Zikomo is a passionate young woman from Lusaka, Zambia, with a dream of building a successful bakery that offers fresh, high-quality bread, pastries, and cakes. She started her business from home, baking small batches and selling them to neighbors and friends. Her customers love her products, and word of mouth has led to more demand than she can handle on her own.

But Zikomo’s small kitchen can’t meet the growing demand, and she lacks the funds to purchase commercial-grade equipment that would help her bake more efficiently and at scale. She also needs a proper storefront to reach more customers and create a safe, welcoming space for people to enjoy fresh bakery products daily.

This is where you come in. Zikomo is asking for your support to take her business to the next level. We are raising ZMW 30,000 to help cover:

Commercial Bakery Equipment: To increase production capacity and improve efficiency (oven, mixer, baking trays, etc.).
Shop Rental: Renting a small storefront to serve as the bakery’s location.
Ingredients and Packaging: Purchasing supplies for baking, as well as packaging materials for delivery.
Marketing and Branding: Creating a logo, website, and social media presence to promote the bakery and attract customers.
