Simple Refunds

Donations can be refunded within 24 hours of the contribution, provided the campaign has not already been paid out.

Fraud Protection

If a campaign is found to be fraudulent by our Trust & Safety team, all remaining funds are returned to donors.

Non-Refundable

Once funds have been disbursed to the campaigner, RiseFundr cannot initiate a direct refund from our platform.

Detailed Refund Terms

RiseFundr is a platform that facilitates connections between donors and campaigners. Because contributions are often immediately utilized for causes like school fees or medical emergencies, the following rules apply:

Important: All refund requests must be submitted through our official Problem Report portal to be considered.

1. Campaigner Responsibilities

Campaigners are legally obligated to use funds for the purposes stated in their campaign. If a campaigner is unable to fulfill their promise, they are encouraged to issue refunds to their donors directly.

2. Transaction Fees

Please note that when a refund is issued, the original transaction fees charged by Mobile Money providers (Airtel, MTN) or Banks may not be refundable, depending on the provider's own policies.

3. Milestone-Based Payouts

To increase donor security, RiseFundr often uses milestone-based payouts. If a campaign is cancelled before a specific milestone is reached, the remaining "held" funds will be eligible for pro-rata refunds to donors.
