1. Acceptance of Terms

RiseFundr ("we," "us," or "our") provides a crowdfunding platform designed for the Southern African region. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the RiseFundr website, mobile applications, and services.

2. Eligibility

To use RiseFundr, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, etc.). By creating an account, you represent that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

3. Fees and Payments

Creating a campaign on RiseFundr is free. However, a platform fee is applied to successfully raised funds.

3.1 Platform Fees

We charge a 5% platform fee on all funds raised. This fee covers our operational costs, security infrastructure, and support services.

3.2 Payment Processing

Third-party payment processors (Mobile Money providers, Banks) may charge additional transaction fees. These are outside of RiseFundr’s control and vary by provider.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use RiseFundr for any unlawful purposes. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Fraudulent fundraising or misleading descriptions.
• Money laundering or financing illegal activities.
• Harassment or infringing on intellectual property rights.

5. Campaign Rules

All campaigns are subject to a review process. RiseFundr reserves the right to suspend any campaign that violates our trust and safety guidelines or fails our verification checks.

6. Limitation of Liability

RiseFundr is a platform provider, not a financial institution. We do not guarantee that campaigns will be successful or that donors will receive rewards promised by campaigners.
